A new painting I finished yesterday I am calling it "Miami". I visited my son Ricky last spring and the urban lifestyle and geometric buildings against the wide open blue seas and the hot colors of the bldgs and skyline were my inspirations
My grandson, Jaxson and I made these snowflake cookies this weekend! Of course he help me cut them out and I did the decorating. I have been wanting to try my hand at piping and then the color flow method using "Meringue Powder". It was time consuming but turned out really nice! They taste great too! I saw these on Martha Stewarts website a couple years ago and loved the shades of green-blue. I don't recommend for children...I had to coax the color flow carefully within the piped lines.
Jaxson at his Church show on Thursday night! He is precious!
